Great News!
The vaccination programme has started at Sevenoaks Medical Centre.
Our much loved member, Reg Glennon, aged 90, was the first Sevenoaks resident to receive the Pfizer vaccination at 8.00 yesterday morning in the Sevenoaks Medical Centre. He does not know yet when the second dose will be administered.
Reg was very complimentary about the efficient service and was grateful to the kind volunteers in the carpark who braved the cold weather to help with directions.
Reg reminded members to take spectacles and hearing aids so that they can listen to information and sign forms.
He also reminded members to take their NHS number with them to save delays
Reg drove himself to the centre and parked there but some of us may want or need to get a lift. If so, make a note of the car registration you arrived in so that volunteers can locate your driver. And bring your mobile phone if you have one so that you can make contact
Please remember to resist contacting your GP surgery and wait until you are invited to attend. Good luck when itβs your turn!
