Public consultation about proposed changes to urgent care services in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley

1 min read

Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley Clinical Commissioning Group are inviting you to take part in their public consultation to help shape important changes they want to make to urgent care services in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley.

By urgent care, they mean care to treat illnesses and injuries that are not life threatening but require an urgent clinical assessment or treatment on the same day.

They are proposing to create a new Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at either Gravesham Community Hospital or Darent Valley Hospital by autumn 2020.

Both proposed options will bring together the existing urgent care services provided by the Minor Injuries Unit at Gravesham Community Hospital and the White Horse Walk-in Centre at Fleet Health Campus under one roof.

The public consultation runs for 12 weeks from 12 August to 4 November 2019.

There are a number of ways you can have your say. You can fill in a survey or see more information, attend one of the public consultation events or invite NHS staff to come along and speak to your group or organisation.
