Hose pipe Ban

Posted on 10 July 2023 by Webmaster

Hose pipe ban!

You may have heard that a hose pipe ban is in place in our district. Remember that help is available
from energy suppliers for older and disabled people and for blue badge holders. Just contact your supplier and ask to be put on the Priority Services Register.

Those on the register are exempt from the hosepipe ban although of course we are all expected to use water responsibly.

The Priority Services Register offers extra free services, such as help if there is a power cut, to people who are of pensionable age, are registered disabled, have a hearing or visual impairment, or have long term ill-health.
